This campaign is all about gratitude and lifting each other up along the campaign trail!
I wanted to take a moment to connect. As we have been gathering momentum these past months, we wanted to acknowledge that July can be an especially social time.
Keep us on your social list and connect with us! We gather the last Tuesday of each month to connect, listen, and share. Burlington is our home and by coming together, we are making it even better!
At these monthly touch points, I hope to share some of the incredible stories we have encountered while door knocking – like how Matteo and Manny helped a senior break down boxes ahead of recycle day – a task that was proving just too difficult for her on her own – these two were her heroes for the day!
We also want to shine a spotlight on Cathy and Alex who spent the morning at the Ukrainian Hall during their Garage Sale Fundraiser, they shared literature, signed up supporters and gave out candy! Most impressively, since Alex couldn’t go door-to-door due to a sprained ankle he took on a sitting role while still helping with the campaign! Way to go and get well soon Alex!

Looking to connect beyond next Tuesday? We appreciate your time and support, and have many different types of social or independent volunteer opportunities available. If you have 30min, an hour, 3 hours, whatever your schedule, we want to give you an opportunity to participate in getting the right candidate elected.
Volunteering is a great way to meet people, spend time with friends while getting in a walk or a social catch-up, expand or develop new skills, collect student volunteer hours, and so on.
