Burlington residents work hard for their money, and City Hall must match that effort. Affordability matters to every household — and before we look at raising it, Burlington needs to take stock of what we already own and where existing assets can deliver more value.
I bring municipal finance experience, corporate discipline and practical problem-solving to strengthen Burlington’s finances, including a corporate track record delivering solutions and proven cost savings across many industries before I ever served on Council.

- Deliver Affordability Through a 2027 City Budget: Manage spending with scrutiny while encouraging responsible development and attracting new businesses that expand the non-residential tax base.
- Bring Real Engagement and Accountability to the City’s Share of Your Tax Bill: Build a Community Budget process that gives residents more time, information and say in how local tax dollars are spent.
- Rebuild Reserve Funds to Safe Levels: Protect reserves for emergencies and long-term stability by setting clear priorities, reviewing discretionary projects, and ensuring spending delivers proven value.
- Grow Revenue and Improve Value: Launch a Sponsorship Program that celebrates local investment in Burlington while reducing pressure on the tax base, and use real-time data so City departments can respond faster and cut waste.
